Audiograbber can normalize the music and delete silence from the start and end of tracks. You can also sample from external sources via the soundcard. This way you can make MP3, WMA, and WAV files from vinyl, radio, etc.
The music is copied digitally, instead of through the sound card, which enables you to make perfect copies of the originals and store them on your hard drive. It offers built-in MP3 encoding, or you can send audio clips to an external program like Fraunhofers L3enc for creation of MP3s.
Audiograbber can launch your favorite MP3 player when the tracks have been ripped. Audiograbber also provides CDDB support, which lets you retrieve the disc and track titles from a disc database stored on Internet.
